Home Away From Home
We know that it can be stressful to leave your furry friend behind when are out of town – especially if they are ill, or recovering from a surgery or procedure. At Mono Way Veterinary Hospital, we can help you put your worries aside.
We offer full general pet boarding services for each one of our furry patients, and medical boarding services for cats and dogs that have conditions that standard boarding centers might not be able to accommodate.
Pet Boarding: A Typical Day
Dogs
Every morning, we let the dogs play outside for a morning run or to get some fresh air before breakfast. While the pups are outside, we clean and disinfect their kennels, and provide them with fresh linens.
Based on the dogs' physical ability and capacity, we take them for a walk, so they can stay on their regular schedule.
Your dog will also be supervised during their entire stay with us – both during walks and while they rest. We serve them dinner in the evening, and then take them for one last walk before bed.
Cats
We will feed your cat according to your specifications and their nutritional requirements, to make sure their routine stays the same as it is at home.
Every day we provide your kitty with one-on-one interactions (if they want it!) including snuggles, pets, and play. We check, clean, and disinfect all of the litter boxes regularly throughout the day.
On top of that, we clean your kitty's room and refresh their linens daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog area to make sure your cat feels safe and relaxed during their stay.
Medical Pet Boarding
Professional veterinarians and veterinary assistants will watch over your pet at all times and will administer their medications. Any medications needed will be given to your furry friend based on the same schedule they are used to at home.
What Should I Pack for My Pet?
Food: We provide food for pets staying with us. Although, you can bring enough of your pet's regular food to last the full length of their stay.
Medication: If your pet takes any medication, bring it along for our staff to administer.
Toys: If your pet has a favorite toy or two, bring them along.
