Home Away From Home
We know that it can be stressful to leave your furry friend behind when are out of town – especially if they are ill, or recovering from a surgery or procedure. At Mono Way Veterinary Hospital, we can help you put your worries aside.
We offer full general boarding services for each one of our furry patients, and medical boarding services for cats and dogs that have conditions that standard boarding centers might not be able to accommodate.
Boarding: A Typical Day
Every morning, we let the dogs play outside for a morning run or to get some fresh air before breakfast. While the pups are outside, we clean and disinfect their kennels, and provide them with fresh linens.
Based on the dogs' physical ability and capacity, we take them for a walk, so they can stay on their regular schedule.
Your dog will also be supervised during their entire stay with us – both during walks and while they rest. We serve them dinner in the evening, and then take them for one last walk before bed.
We will feed your cat according to your specifications and their nutritional requirements, to make sure their routine stays the same as it is at home.
Every day we provide your kitty with one-on-one interactions (if they want it!) including snuggles, pets, and play. We check, clean, and disinfect all of the litter boxes regularly throughout the day.
On top of that, we clean your kitty's room and refresh their linens daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog area to make sure your cat feels safe and relaxed during their stay.
Professional veterinarians and veterinary assistants will watch over your pet at all times and will administer their medications. Any medications needed will be given to your furry friend based on the same schedule they are used to at home.
Our Boarding Team
Every member of our team is an animal lover and enjoys giving our boarders all the attention and care they deserve during their stay.

The fees of our boarding services vary depending on the duration of the stay, the size of the pet, and special medical requirements. Although, our pricing is competitive and affordable. You are welcome to contact us for a quote.
- What time should I drop off and pick up my pet?

We will be happy to administer your pet's medications while they are with us.
- Can I get updates about my pet during their stay?
Yes, you can call us throughout your pet's stay for updates. If there is a problem, we will contact you using the emergency contact information you provide.
- How should I prepare for my pet's stay?
Every animal is different. To prepare for your pet's stay with us, we'll take the following steps to ensure that we can meet their unique needs.
Step 1: Contact us to get started
Contact us to reserve a spot, and to discuss details about your pet and your boarding requirements. A member of our team will be happy to coordinate your booking.
Please note that, due to the nature of our accommodations, we do not accept unaltered dogs. Pets must be up to date with all vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks to stay at our facility.
Step 2: Book a trial stay
We want you to be completely confident that we are a good fit for your furry friend before an extended stay. A trial stay includes a full day of daycare where we can take the time to assess your pet's temperament and make sure they fit in with the family.
Step 3: Set your pet up for success
When it's time for you to drop your pet off with us, there are several steps you can take to help reduce any stress or anxiety your cat or dog might feel.
Spend some extra time with your pet beforehand, and make sure they get lots of exercise so that they are feeling calm. When you arrive at our facility, remain calm, confident, and cheerful during the separation.
